They look like the LSU of old with OL and DL size, skill and most importantly depth.

Coach O seems MUCH more comfortable with staff around him in 2018. Less uptight than in 2017....more like Interim O that got him gig

Impressed as hell with Devin White & Breiden Fehoko.

Still need a QB to wow in fall camp to breakway from pack.

O’s recruiting has helped plug major holes left unattended by last regime

Nice sunshine pumping...

Fehoko is going to be a beast. Excited as hell to see this DL in action.

I sure hope not. He lost to a 14 point dog at home as interim O.

But, I suppose that is better than losses to Troy and State...

We'll see. I still think LSU head's into that early Ole Miss matchup 2-2.

Besides the whole letting our CB depth go down the drain. (Yes I know we signed juco player)

The problem is how is O going to react if shite starts to go wrong. You have other big programs in the SEC making big time moves and you can arguably say Florida, A&M, Bama, and Auburn's programs are all in better position than LSU atm. 4 teams LSU has to face every year. A coach truly needs 3 years at minimum to see if he is going to succeed I just don't know if he's going to get a chance if things don't go well this year.

Wasn't he in charge of recruitment under the last regime?

Comfort's not necessarily the best thing when you're trying to build a special team.

Love that our biggest need is still the biggest question mark.

WTF!??

Besides Offensive Tackle, what holes did Miles & Co leave unattended? And don’t say QB because Miles was more responsible for Brennan and Narcisse being here than O is. O almost royally fricked the recruitment of Brennan actually.

He should be, considering he hired individuals based on his comfort level with them rather than their coaching ability.

From 2013 through last year it was clear LSU's defensive line, as a whole, had taken a big step back from 2009-2012. The front line of Lawrence, Fehoko, Alexander should be the most talented group of interior D Linemen LSU has had in a while. If so, then this defense could be really, really good (assuming they can stay relatively healthy in the secondary).

O has also placed an emphasis on loading up the OL. For that, he deserves credit.

I guess the question is what does that mean? O has literally nothing to do with the offense. Obviously he and Canada didn't get along last year, so does that mean he is more comfortable in feeling like he can tell Ensminger what he should and/or should not be doing on offense? If so, that isn't a good thing. Or, does it mean he trust Ensminger completely and feels he doesn't have to step in and say anything when it comes to the offense?

My guess is it's probably the latter and O feels like he can do what he is actually qualified to do...recruit and completely get out of the way when it comes to game planning/play calling. For better or worse (and deep down he knows it too) LSU is better when Ogeron has nothing to do with "strategery". His job as HC is COMPLETELY reliant on his coordinators being great. In essence, he didn't trust Canada with his (O's) job. That's where I'm sure the friction came in because Canada didn't respect Ogeron as a coach. He knew that Ogeron was completely reliant on him and didn't really care what Ogeron thought.

Ensminger and Aranda at least give O deference, instead of just considering him a useless HC. As such, O trusts them with HIS job.

Or in some instances, taken what were positions of strength and gutted them. See: CB and RB.

Are you going to disappear after the spring game, or should we expect at least one pumper thread a day all the way through fall camp?

This tells me LSU is going to be pretty stacked when Kiffin rolls into town for 2019.
