but Trump has never actually said a damn thing about firing Mueller, right?
Not publicly, but it's been reported that he actually ordered staff to give the order twice. The first was in June and Don McGahn (White House Counsel) refused and threatened to resign which led Trump to back down. The second time was in December after the news broke that Deutschebank had been ordered to release Trump financial records on subpoena from Mueller. He backed down from this one when his staff called Mueller's office and was told the story was inaccurate.

But then Mueller and Rosenstein raided his personal lawyers offices looking for porno payoffs....No Russia collusion, confirmed witch hunt....Time to lock up the real criminals. Any protest should be met with 10x the fire power. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconusaflagsmiley.gif)

"According to persons familiar to the situation who asked not to be named because they don't exist."

Here is the key phrase in your reply. Why people keep trusting sources who claim to have some scoop on what politicians are thinking or considering is beyond me. How can one be that stupid? News channels have 24 hours to fill. Its their industry to blindly speculate all day on tenuous information.
Stop being a little girl and wait for concrete action before getting hysterical about something that may or may not happen.

You really believe Trump "backed down" because some staffer threatened to quit? lol

Link the article that cites the names that are claiming this?
