Dang man, what did he say / do to y’all? I don’t know him btw, just rare to see a guided trip review with anyone halfway reputable earn those kinda marks - not doubting your story at all, just curious.

I’ve fished with pretty much everyone on Big Lake, and quite a few east of there / closer to New Orleans, and off that top of my head I can’t think of one bad trip - all those guys seem to be salt of the earth/easy to be around, so I’d be interested in hearing what he did / said

CAPT Travis Lovell

985 856 8167.

Everyone I have sent his way has been pleased with the service.

He is especially good with kids and has two of his own.

If you’re a dude in the boat with your wife (who can compete with most men I ever fished with) and the Captain tells you that you cast like a woman, how do you think that went over. This was after he and I started the day almost coming to blows on the dock because I wanted to bring my own (small) tackle bag and he tried telling me no. And the insults to everyone in the boat continued all day. And the aforementioned moving several times when we were catching on every cast. I’ve paid for many a trip, fished with some of the top guide services all over the Gulf Coast and there’s a couple I wouldn’t let someone I didn’t like fish with.
