We are staying 4.22-4.28. Thanks for all the recommendations. Any idea on how much cash we should carry down? We're kinda on the fence about how much is enough.

i carried about $100 in usd and $200 in pesos for Isle Mujeres.

I brought $1000 but my wife and kids like to shop and spend all of daddy's money and cam home with less than $100. IF you need to buy prizes of any kind the Cancun Airport has a shopping area where everything is way cheaper than when shopping in town. (talking about mexican trinkets etc)
