Not necessarily, they can use one of these tall receivers. I didn't say a TE in my post I don't believe.

Lol @ BigSlick...O talks too much on a regular basis, do you think he would not mention if they had a REAL four receiver set since he tried to sell everyone on the team going to a spread offense? At somepoint, you have to practice as you plan to pay.

Agreed, I hope he wouldn't tell it all but...

That's why he was talking about using the receivers in a empty formation for the match up with our tall receiver.

I think a BALANCED offense would be more beneficial. Continuing to use the RBs, but don't live and die by them, continue to use the TE from time to time but not enough for a team to know the play when 84 is in the game, and start using more than one WR on just a 9 route.

I'm talking about Quinn while at LSU. Are you being factious about him underperforming at SMU? You must be!

My only regret is that I only have one down vote to give to my country. I mean you.

How many practices have you personally seen this year? Are you going by practice statistics given out by the coach? So you rally think that the coaching staff is lying and the players are lying? You don't know jack about how these players will be used. Do you honestly think that these coaches aren't looking at ways to get the ball to these tall and athletic receivers? You don't think that the running backs are going to be included in the short passing game? You are in for a major surprise this year.

Well, you can, delay block(selling run) and release, he'll bite on run. But you can beat a lb by your alignment and getting him stuck with a slot or rb. The rpo is a good way to beat the lb by reading him.

@ rickyh:

I've probably been to more practices than you this year. I am going from what we've seen from the team over the years abs if you read the last, you would know that. Why are you so touchy? Are you an LSU Coach?

I agree! You must be in the spread. You can't run a spread with a FB and slow TE.

Atleast we are using our tight ends. I like the two kids we brought in this season. Hopefully those kids develope into another great tandem like OBJ and Landry. If MB is just slightly better than Mett we will have another championship ready team. Cant wait for the season to start.
