Tackling him was stupid. Really stupid. In the video you can't confirm Sterling was reaching for a weapon, but it does seem plausible. The guy that got fired should have never been in LE. Clearly didn't have the disposition for those situations.

Sterling was a POS but so was the guy that shot him. I'm long past tired of hearing LEO tell me "my job is to go home after my shift" - um, no, your job is law enforcement and it entails risk, so deal with it like a fricking man. And I love LE trying to lecture military about this shite, it's hilarious.

That video should be shown all across the country in every LE training course on how not to handle this type of situation. That was some shitty police work.

Stars and Stripes since you have the perfect disposition for the job I assume you have applied to the BRPD and requested to work Alton’s neighborhood? I’m sure you showing up to arrest a suspect with a flower in your hand is going to work out just fine.
