Depends on how you look at it. SMW is kind of a filter for the 2d/3D shift. It set a lot of rules in place that are still used today. It's an important game, but SMB3 and.....
I'd probably say SM64 is more important and probably should be #1. With that said, GTA3 should also be like #2 or 3 with Ocarnia in the other spot. Those three games changed everything for video games.
