I already have a 1 year ban bet if we go 9-3.

I would permaban if we go 10-2 this year. And I would be fricking thrilled to do it.

Nothing would make me happier than being wrong about O and the direction of this program.

But I’ll look forward to you and the Prince’s Posse telling us all to just wait till next year when we go 8-4 and telling us how no one thought 10 wins was possible this year anyway

The 5th practice with a new QB, new RB, new WR's, new OC and y'all are melting already.

Remember how y'all bashed Etling? Lol

What are you trying to say? Etling was very limited. We have guys higher praising the talent on the other quarterbacks. Is this in response to the high number of missed plays? That’s on the entire offense and they are under an entirely new offense with a guy who hasn’t been an OC in quite some time. Didn’t Etling give a ton of credit to Canada, who actually wanted more playing time for Brennan.

I’m just not sure what you are referencing your comment to. Even if the offense stinks it’s not because of Etling.

I expect the oftense to dominant inferior teams but struggle mightily against great defenses just like when Ensminger called plays two seasons ago. I hope the offense is much better.

I am certainly not melting

I have melted a handful of times in my fandom.

- Pick 6 against UGA in 2008. Damn that game to hell.
- INT called off in Tuscaloosa in 2010.
- 1/9/12 in the 3rd quarter I melted into my flask of bourbon in the stadium
- The day we hired Orgeron full-time I flipped out
- Troy last year

That's about it.

I'm not melting about this year at all for two reasons:

1. Dave Aranda is a god amongst men and the defense will be unreal

2. Having a bad offense will just be the norm. I'm numb to it sadly. That also means the only way we can go is up, so that's a positive way to look at it

No Auburn 06 baw?? You’re a better man than I. I couldn’t talk for a week after that robbery

I’d put UGA 98 and Ole Miss 01 up there in my top melts as well. They weren’t pretty

You are wrong. It is Spring and we are installed a brand new offense, and has had about a handful of practices with Aranda's system coming into the 3ed year. Our offense is going to be very good.

You're not very good with reading comprehension are you? My post that you responded to said absolutely nothing about how experienced the coaching staff is. It said absolutely nothing about wanting the coaching staff to fail.

My post didn't have anything to do with Tom Herman. It had nothing to do with players ability to learn or who was responsible if they can't learn.

My post was 100% about how funny a gif was that Tiger Voodoo had posted and how funny it would be to have coach o's face on it in response to a post from either Tiger Ree or Space Clownboy. Two of the worst posters on the rant and two posters that would go to any length to absolve o of any blame for anything that has gone south since his hiring as head coach and to shift said blame to anybody from other coaches on the staff, players on the team or even Les Miles, a guy who hasn't had a damn thing to do with the program for over a year and a half.

So perhaps you should get ready for the upcoming season and quit your bitching.

And frick you for calling our players average.

It's a shame how many people on here want Orgeron and Ensminger to fail just so they can say "I told you so." If players aren't picking up stuff they're being taught whose fault is that? What makes any of you think Tom Herman could come in here and make All-Americans out of average players?
The LSU coaching staff has a lot of experience. They know how to coach. Some of you ought to be banned about how you disparage the staff. It's never the players fault if they can't learn. It's always the coaches fault because they can't coach or motivate.

I'm just glad I know now who's going to be the scapegoat for the season. Last season it was Miles and Canada. This season it'll be the players.

Is it bad for me to say I won't be convinced of anything said in practice until we see it on the field vs another team?

Not at all, it’s actually the intelligent thing to do.
With Miles, you knew he was speaking in opposites, ala 2008 the OL was the best he’d ever been around ( they were garbage). Orgeron is just delusional.

What makes you think 4 years of top ten recruiting classes and one of top 15 is average players?
Who’s fault is it for average players after 1.9 seasons as HC after 2 years on staff?

Is there an actual new playbook bein implemented or are we using some of the stuff used over the last couple years with an additional few plays? honest question

Most playbooks are pretty similar. The difference is subtleties in switching individual assignments. Variations out of the group of plays, with various formations.

This is why you see the spread become so popular, especially in high school. Not as many formations, just variations of the same small group of plays

No big deal. LSU is reloading offensively. Defense always ahead of the offensive at this point. I would expect to see the offensive begin to show marked improvement as the spring practice progresses.

But make no mistake, this defense is tuff.

It's a freaking scrimmage. Smh. Lot of this info means little. Lot of comments are lip service. I hear every year about backups shining and they remain backups once season starts. Lol. You guys are hilarious
