In 2013 attendees at a Star trek convention voted on ranking the Star Trek movies. At the time there were 12 Star trek movies. Galaxy Quest was voted number 7. Pretty high praise from a group of people notoriously protective of the franchise.

Alan Rickman is amazing in this.
Decided to watch again after seeing this thread. Caught something I'd never noticed before...The first time the crew is about to be jettisoned to the ship outpost and they pass Guy (Rockwell) in the storage room. There is a moment there when he has some employee cornered and she is trying to get past but he is blocking her with his arms on either side of the storage rack. So hilariously creepy.
