Besides his 13-1 record and NC title his other years at LSU were ok 10-3 Was best year after that. Everyone wants to bitch and complain about current head coach but so far his record is fine. Say what you want but O can accomplish more than Saban at LSU. Miles did just as good as Saban and do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.

Shut up and put your tv on the SEC Network and watch a real coaching clinic, Derek.

C'mon man. Saban followed DiNardo with very little talent and O followed Miles with a decade's worth of top 10 classes. Was this thread really necessary again? You're just inviting more hate towards your argument. Let's get past this PLEASE.

Was Saban an abysmal failure at his previous job before becoming LSUs head coach?

Even Tiger Ree thinks you're making the PR team look bad.

O isn't winning any championships, SEC or otherwise. O will have to win the SEC this season to even match what saban did to this point. it's not happening.

We really don't need any comparisons between LSU's present day coach and SABAN who is THE GOAT.

Any man favorably comparing Orgeron with Nick Saban exposes himself as the dumbass he truly is.

How much are Orgeron/Ponamsky paying you for your bot services?

Are you seriously comparing the two, Saban inherited a losing team, the two are no way alike. This is just stupid.

Miles is a reach to put in the same class as Saban. Orgeron isn’t in the same galaxy.

Miles inherited a loade roster and a program a year removed from an NC. Saban had rebuilt the LSU brand and laid the necessary foundation with Academic Center and Football Ops palace.
Orgeron inherited a program who star had diminished and with some huge roster holes and somewhat better talent than Saban inherited. He has nowhere near the attention to detail or clear roadmap of how to get to the next level.

Go back and look at LSU's records the previous 2 years prior to 2000. More than that, go back and look at what LSU did during the entire 90's decade.

Saban changed an entire culture here. LSU's facilities were shite prior to 2000. TAF was a joke prior to 2000. LSU couldn't sign the elite players in the New Orleans metro area prior to 2000.

He won a SEC title in his 2nd season after the dreadful 90's. He won a SEC and National Title in his 4th year.

I know, I know, he probably shouldn't have had Mauck still in the game late against Florida in 2002. But... had Mauck not broken his leg, 2002 would easily have been a 10+ win season for LSU.

He was mentally gone in 2004. He always wanted a NFL gig, and that was pretty much all that was on his mind in 2004.

His 2 year stint in Miami cured him of that itch. That Miami stint is what has helped make him be the best of the best at Alabama. H

Yeah Saban was pretty overrated as a coach. He fluked into that championship at LSU and then fell on his face when he tried to parlay his success into bigger and better things. Whatever happened to that guy anyway?

Hahahahha! It never fails, the ole "If you look at Sabans record outside of the 13-1 NC year, no context to what LSU had been the prior decade" post. Yeah let's compare Saban to Ogeron....
