Drew could easily leverage the saints and choose to enter FA with any price tag he chooses and likely get it from a number of teams.

Drew lost some leverage when the market got more FA options with Cousins. Yes, he’s not Brees, but the drop off is not that dramatic and he’s younger and could be a long term solution.

Will still get no credit from the "Brees should sign a team friendly deal so we can afford to build a team around him" crowd on this board
