it wouldn't be to any rational thinker
the deaths suck, but these people should have 0 guilt for anything related to the deaths, unless we assume that he had an obsession about buying that particular gun from that particular store. ARs are fungible so the actual merchant who sold it is literally irrelevant

Playing devils advocate here, now what would have happened if the store keep would have refused to sell this man a product from his shop even though the man was qualified to purchase the item and no reasonable argument prohibited the sale?
Lawsuit that's what...
In hindsight it was the smart move to shut the shop down and liquidate the merchandise. Especially seeing how the they would have been vilified by the press and the unwashed progfilth.
