Clearly false, but they are better in football and basketball for sure. In football, it's simply a matter of wanting success. They want it, we don't. Or at least the people who make decisions for us don't. At Alabama, an AD or school president who fricked up the football team with backroom politics would be run out of town on a rail. At LSU, not so much. In basketball, it's pretty much the same story for us, but maybe Will Wade represents a change in that trend. Alabama really doesn't care that much about basketeball, but at least they don't have good ole boys actively sabotaging it like we have for the last 20 years.

Go to Wal-Mart and buy you some decals and a shirt like half people that say they are Alabama fans do. Their day is coming...the mills of the Gods grind slowly but they grind exceedingly small.

I love how you make a broad sweeping statement to say they are better than us in everything based on fact they have had recent success against football and basketball; but then use their past success to claim they are better than us in gymnastics, even though LSU has been much better than Alabama in recent years.

Well let’s compare the past in basketball...
-they rank behind LSU in total SEC championships (LSU has 10 to Bama’s 7; and only KY has more than LSU)
-they’ve NEVER made a final 4 (LSU has been to 4 of them)
-they’ve only ever been to one Elite 8 (LSU has been to 6)
-and Alabama’s last tourney appearance was SIX years ago (LSU was 3 years ago and LSU has more overall tournament appearances)...

But sure, Alabama is better than LSU in basketball!

Even up those baseball schollies and that domination would end.
It's amazing that we manage to steal a series here and there with guys basically paying most of their own way against a team with 35 schollied players.
