Interesting to look back. Got some right and some wrong. Still a ways to go.

1. Drew signs for more money than most anticipate and less than a deal Tom Brady will eventually take with the Pats and everyone will melt and bash Jimmy John's.
Wrong. Drew signed for less than I thought.

2. The Saints will be smart in FA and not sign anyone during the first wave and fans will melt. They definitely are not overpaying Jarvis Landry.

Right 100 percent.

3. The Saints do not even place a tender on Breaux or they put the UDFA level one for no compensation - there's something there imo and both sides are ready to move on.

Nailed it.

4. They put a 3rd round tender on Snead and ultimately he signs.

Wrong / incomplete. They put the lowest tender and we don't know yet if he'll be back.

5. They do the same for Coleman.

6. Strief plays one more year as swing tackle.

Wrong.

7. Okafor gets a 1-year $5 million deal.

Incomplete

8. Vaccaro is not re-signed and there really is little effort to keep him.

9. Kikaha is traded on draft day for a late-round pick.

10. The Saints biggest splashes in FA is a mid-level WR. I'll predict Moncrief from the Colts. The other FA starters will be a mid-level LB and slot CB.

13. We draft OL or S in the first with a fan favorite SEC player still available. Think Arden Key.

14. We pick up a cheap veteran DE pass rushing specialist to play 15-20 snaps a game.

15. Klein moves into the SLB slot with Teo becoming starting MLB and our FA addition playing the WLB with Anzalone as backup and Robertson depth to MLB and WLB.
