Besides, it'll give me more of an excuse to make a trip to Baton Rouge lol. I absolutely love Baton Rouge food and just being around fellow LSU Tigers.

So basically you want to live vicariously through your nephew. And someone from Texas who attends a prestige private school is all upset about the republicans (if you want to research something, research La politics. It's not a party issue)?

Your nephew is being bullied for wanting to go to LSU.

Because your nephew likes tailgating at LSU and all that, he wants to put that as a top priority over academics?

He wants to come to LSU, but because of the republican elected officials he might have to settle for going to Duke, Tulane, Virginia, etc?

The best advice you can give him is to at least stay away from Rice. Evidently it turns people into retards.
