Just playing devil's advocate here....

If next year we have an explosive and productive offense like we haven't seen at LSU in forever, would you consider Ensminger one of the best OCs?

Yes I would consider it a good hire if it works out. But if it doesn't, will you still continue to blindly support every little thing LSU and O do?

Once he's actually begun to prove something, you mean? If the offense is explosive and productive like we haven't seen in forever, then I'll start giving him a chance. He'll still need to prove that it isn't a one-off. Ensminger's overall career as an offensive coordinator doesn't contain a track record of success.

As far as Orgeron is concerned, for years this board claimed that a trained monkey could win 9 games at LSU. So far he's only proved that he can't totally sink the program in 12 months.

As to actually "giving them a chance," I don't have hiring or firing power so what does that mean anyway. I don't plan to stop watching the games, and I will still try to make it to a few when I can. But my interest is definitely dwindling.

We had that already with Ensminger and it wasn't enough to score on the goal line to beat Florida, and got us shut out at home vs Bama.

Sure! I know it’s hard for some pea headed cavemen around here to understand, but we ALL want this to happen!
