Well, someone earlier said it, the BOS doesn't give a shite about who gets the OC job.

I meant to imply that the next coach will have talent to work with.

He still hasn’t been interviewed as of tonight. Not sure if that’s going to change.

As things stand, what would you say the odds of this being the outcome are?

we will be ok. Probably. But okay is not why why we fired an NC winning coach. Its literally the exact opposite of what we were trying to accomplish

Great post. We’ll be ok, but ok won’t beat Bama. Ok won’t win the SEC and ok certainly won’t win any NCs!

O will never do any of this. We are just treading water until he and Alleva are gone.

This is the most probable outcome. Don’t have odds because I wasn’t given any. If this falls thru then Gilbert and Sarkisian are the next options and not necessarily in that order. Just what I was told. Very very underwhelming. So many exceptional offensive minds that would crawl to Baton Rouge to run LSU’s offense.

What’s really nuts is the fact by all account, Ensminger really doesn’t want the job! How fricked up is that? The OC is trying to be handed to him on a silver platter and he doesn’t want it.

I will not pitch my tent. I will not pay for parking. I will not pay for shitty concessions if we are not even trying. Will not do it. I’ll stay at home until this shite show passes.

O made his bed now he will have to lay in it. He will sink to the bottom. I was really pulling for the guy. But the man is just to hard headed.

I did too. Anyone can check my post history and see that I've been defending Orgeron pretty consistently, especially on things that are subjective/rumor.

This has changed my mind, if he ends up hiring Steve E at least. He's an arrogant, sleazy good ole boy who lied his way into $3,500,000 a year from LSU and hasn't delivered on jack shite, nor does he seem interested in genuinely changing his failing ways.

His "I'm da head coach and it's my call" bullshite says everything that you need to know about him. He'll put his ego ahead of improvement and objectively doing the right thing.

Everyone knows that no matter if you're a CEO, or an officer in the military, or a lawyer, or a fricking fast food manager- you spend your time planning and delegate a good plan of action to your subordinate leaders and allow them to either sink or swim, and deal with them later if they frick up. Any leader who constantly has his hand in everything will undoubtedly fail, and this is now Ed's second go round of failing for that same reason. Guy is a pile of shite

Ah gotcha.

Well that is our only hope at this point. Which is incredibly sad

Ultimately the Orgeron era is gonna go down in history as similar to the Hallman years or Smoke Laval in baseball. fricked up the hire, paid for it for a few years and then got right.

Alleva and company made a stupid hire on the cheap, they're getting stupid and cheap results. I don't see anyway O gets extended beyond his current contract.

We used to say any retard could run this program with the facilities and talent in place....

Well Joe Alleva took that challenge and found the retard capable of fricking it up.

Positive thing about it is, if it is Ensminger, Aranda will probably be elevated to Head Coach sooner than later.

This sort of thing is Miles-esque. Back to beating our heads against the wall and ignoring the blood. Can’t wait. Literally nothing has changed on offense and yet they continue going BACK to the same thing.

He'll likely win 7-9 games. It won't completely bottom out unless recruiting tanks. But they deemed 7-9 wins not good enough from Miles and then hired Orgeron. He's just not the guy that's gonna get LSU over the hump and back to winning 10+ regularly.
