Yeah. Give me Gilbert and ill be satisfied. I know next to nothing about Cumbie. Can anyone enlighten me? What are his tendencies?

He’s under the Air Raid tree. But he like many other current Air Raid coaches have evolved and runs the ball more than you expect a traditional Air Raid team to run it

Cumbie actually reminds me a bit of Urban Meyer which is the only true spread system I think works in the SEC. CUM had success here because he understood in order to beat SEC teams you had to dominate the trenches. He had like all the best strengths from the spread stretching you across the field them ramming it down your throat.
Cumbie's system actually is similar to the power run CUM ran. Yeah, he spreads you out but he uses it not just for the pass but to setup some balance run schemes which is what you want in the SEC. I think he'd be a great hire for us.
