I could see this happening. Taggart loves Corey Raymond. CR has raided Florida for so long I always felt like if we lose Corey it would be to a Florida school as Dc. Our only hope is to promise him the DC position in waiting when Aranda moves on. And he will before long. He’s never stayed anywhere too long and With all the nfl changes coming I could see him getting that nfl offer he’s wanted. If so I’d say offer Raymond a Dc job. I think he’s got all the right qualities to run a defense.

Raymond will not be offered D.C. Job at FSU. That would not go well.
Wouldn't be surprised if LSU had to fend off suitors for him though. It's pretty much a yearly task now.

CR will not leave his alma matter for a lateral job. He loves Lsu and we will pay him top $. But he will end up getting a DC offer I would bet my house on it. He has all the qualities a DC needs. I think he will make a great DC one day and I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Corey get the DC job if Aranda leaves. He’s a great DB coach and every good defense needs a great secondary. He is an elite recruiter. He’s coached beside the best Dc in football the last few years. Offer him a DC in waiting and when Aranda leaves give him a shot. We can’t afford to lose Aranda and Corey. Aranda is staying for now. But what if nfl calls ? A ton of changes coming in the Nfl.
