Well I agree he would not have been fired.. However are you telling me that the offense wasn't more fun to watch and ran at a much more smooth way after O took over????????//

Pisses you off doesn't it when someone has a positive post about O. Our pathetic fanbase is sad.

This thread really has turned weird. I was just wondering if the haters didn't read anything in my OP besides a quote or two and it caused them to fly-off-the-handle. Or if they did indeed read the first two sentences and totally flipped-out and forgot what they had read when they got to the quotes.

The reason for this thread is spelled out at the very beginning but somehow no-one even noticed.

quote:

he gets more hate than frickin johnny Jones

Are you kidding. He gets way more hate than the two coaches that told LSU to frick-off. They are loved for flipping them the bird. So-called LSU fans on this message board fans are a strange group.

Thank you !!!

I couldn't tell if the guy was agreeing with me or not so I didn't want to reply. The rules for "saw" and "seen" aren't difficult at all and are easily found on the internet if needed.

It negates everything someone says in my book if they can't even do very basic English.

Seriously? Ed would be the easy choice. He gets Jimbo starting next year and will get Hotlips in 2019. Both of the guys that he outperformed this year and guys that most on this board wanted. Somehow forgetting that they refused LSU and not the other way around. He proved without a shadow of a doubt he is a far better head coach than Lane Kiffin when he took over USC in 2013.

Wtf did i just read?

Kiffin was in his 30s when he had those jobs. He’s improved a tremendous amount as a coach since those stints. He didn’t go out there and lose to Troy or take over a pretty good roster.
But if you’re gonna go by your logic, I’ll just remind you that Kiffin got Ed O that job at USC. Oh and in one year at Tennessee, Kiffin surpassed Ed O’s SEC record in three years.

O abandoned his team and players and quit in a fit after not being named permanent HC.

How in the hell is that a positive?

I have no idea.

How many coaches have been replaced this season?

I haven't seen any of the interim coaches throw a hissy fit and quit like Orgeron did.

No, i don’t take any of this personally. This does demonstrate that many of you are O fans more than LSU fans.

knew johnny Jones wasn't a good coach, but you know what, I gave him a chance.

How did that work out? I guess the silver lining is we got Wade so maybe if O tanks well get a great FB coach again

care about his career record at LSU. I dgaf about what he did at a bottom feeder program.

In other words we know his record in his only previous full time coaching job was in defensible.so we will ignore it (while also accusing others of having an “agenda” )
3 of the last 4 coaches at OM had at least 1 10 win season. Freeze took over after 4-8 and 2-10 seasons and won 7. No excuses for 10-25

Les Miles would not have been fired if he had gone 12-1 in 2015 and was 4-0 to start 2016.

Agree. But over time, how many times did he cost LSU a game because he couldn't figure out what the little numbers at each endzone were for - including the last game he coached.

You are just proving again you are lowering the standards

I'm not lowering standards and I loved Les Miles. I was happy when he was not fired after the A&M game. I was very excited about what was reported about him opening up the offense. To me the only thing that was needed at the time. After the Wisconsin game I realized I had been duped and nothing was going to change unless the admin made it happen.

you know for sure Tigeree is on the payroll. i asked him if O has ever done anything wrong and he went all the way back to Janzen Jackson. there is zero chance he is an actual lsu fan.

what he did at USC definitely improved that program.

Didn’t we hire him to make LSU better?

Did he?

After one year I would say things are looking very good for the future. From the new O-line coach to the new O-line and D-line players that are coming in. Not to mention the more than 30 true and RS freshmen who got valuable experience this year with 12 starting.

At its best this team is the same team we saw for the last decade

Never watch college football do you?

And I havent Seen anything that makes me think O is getting better.

Who cares as long as the team is getting better.

Ree is to Orgeron what Choctaw was to Miles.

O can do no wrong.

The ONLY difference is Choctaw at least could point to a successful history.

Ree hitched his wagon to a guy who has never proven he can run a successful program, so he is forced to make obnoxious assertions.

Elaborate please.

So you're admitting that Ed Orgeron will not get better, which in turn means that the team will not get better.

People were saying that when he began at USC. Right up until he became the first coach since the 1960's to start a season ranked #1 in the nation and finish unranked. He was fired at the airport 5 games into the next season for horrendous losses.

None of this means a thing. You must really like typing. Eaux and Kiffin are boys. They coached at USC before TN. Kiffin was coming to LSU last year as the OC under Eaux.

Ha Ha Ha. I've seen where a couple of the idiots are trying to spin it as Coach Eaux abandoning USC. I love this place, it's Free and Very Entertaining.
