Like someone who uses a thesaurus and incorrectly assumes that every synonym it offers works in all cases.
Since every political theory we have was developed in Europe, they're ALL "continental philosophies". Libertarianism, which they revile, is as much a continental philosophy as communism.

Nah. Continental is mainland (primarily Germany) Europe. The alternative being British philosophy.
