Yes The way I understand it your vehicle is your castle. An extension of “your home is your castle”. Subject to same search and seizure laws as your home. OT Defense lawyers could give us the correct answer if I’m wrong.

This was posted on the OB last week in a similar thread. The whole "extension of your home" is an oversimplification of Louisiana law that, apparently, isn't accurate.
