Nah lets make this drunk guy crawl across the floor so any hand movement means we can shoot him 5 times
I used to be a huge backer of cops but video has done it all in. I wish we could co back in time and let everyone out

The reason they the cops didn't want to approach him was the blind corner and the closed doors to the room. If they had approached him they set themselves up for a possible ambush from around the corner or from the rooms.
