Opinions on Acorns?

Sorry if already posted, I have just begun to read the money board as of recently.
So I was hunting this weekend and my buddy was telling me about Acorns. He’s been using it since January and loves it. I realize the $1/month fee can be a rather high percentage being take from you if you don’t make a lot of transactions, but the concept seems to be a good idea in the fact that you won’t really realize you’re investing a few extra dollars a week.
Anyone have any experience pros/cons? TIA

Been using it for years as a "set it and forget it" way to invest. College students get it without fees and I've thoroughly enjoyed it just as a secondary savings account that can accrue a bit more than the 1% that online savings banks accrue.
