Let me guess. O was the best coach available too.

Pump the brakes!

It's two games -- one against a SWAC opponent (which is generally the worst conf. in D-1 basketball) and another against a mid-major that a fellow SEC team just beat by 40. Also, this team under "the best coach we've ever had" just allowed 58 points in half! To a mid-major. Last year's LSU team only did that twice...against Florida and Wake Forest. And per Wade himself last year's team was one of the worst defensive power conf. teams in the last 10+ years

LSU opened last season with 22 and 17 point wins, respectively. As usual on here, people overreacted. I think Wade is going to be an excellent coach. However, I'm not willing to name the court after him simply as a result of two early season wins

He looks good, but way too early to say...so far I like we I see too.

The Dale Brown years were exciting...though he could have been better at Xs and Os... one helluva motivator.

No shite!

We beat two nothing teams and the guy gets the greatest tag. I like everything about the guy, but can we watch a few games against teams that don't stink before we start with the best in LSU history.

In fairness our talent level isn't at the same level as Arkansas. Our roster is full of Juco transfers, freshmen and guys from that awful team last year. You can't really expect to be dominant right now. I think this year, just seeing improvements is worth enough to praise. When we get the influx of talent next year we should be able to judge more fairly.
