The marority of folks have zero option on who their ISP is, if they do have an option there is likely 2-3 choices max.
There is no free market involved here, the only way this is a good idea is if you force the ISP's into giving others ISP's access through their connection and break up their monopolies.
For example if my only choice is ATT as a ISP what free market principles are involved? What choice do I have?
This means ATT now gets to decide what news I see, what shows I watch, and where I shop.
This is horrible for the consumer.
