I’m still wondering when the American flag came to solely represent the military.

Get real man. It represents the greatest country in the world and nothing else. If you don't support our military, go to China and yell " F! communism" and see what happens.. And if you don't get that, find some place else to live. Funny how you people never seam to leave the good 'ole Us of A though.

Not everyone agrees, including plenty of us that served. Do we lose people we care about so we can villainize our neighbors who don't even mean the disrespect that we attribute to them? Personally, I think hating people over a difference of ideas and symbols is a disrespect to those we know who fought and died for Reid's and all of our freedoms. We fought against that type of mindset. But that's just me. If hating him makes you feel better, have at it.
i served also and have a lot men that served that feel the same as me. He ( Reed) does it more for attention. Do you really think that cops go out and look for black people to kill? That's what the protest started as , now it's just look at me contest " I'm down with my people" . The first concern should black on black crime. How much has Eric Reed donated to this cause anyway? Just curious

It’s a god damn shame how Kaepernick poisoned his mind with this trash. Hearing him talk about all this just makes me shake my head in shame

I love that Eric Reid kneeling is disrespectful, but 70k people replacing "home of the brave" with "home of the Tigers" on Saturday is completely acceptable.

The hypocrisy from some people is comical.

Question, of these cases

What % was justified based on the situation and what isn't?

You keep high lighting very small scenarios and act like this is an everyday normal all over

Then you are no patriot. Normalizing the disrespect of our country on our largest stage is about the biggest insult to a country a society can bring. Your ignorance of the subject only fuels it further.

You people are insufferable. I'm sick of this even being an issue - these guys can demonstrate however they want; I honestly don't care. But the fact that some of yall get so worked up over this is pathetic.

You sir are an arse. Its vets day weekend. He is 1 of 2 morons that decided to make today about himself rather than honor the folks that served for HIM.

It's mind boggling how some don't understand that the players aren't protesting veterans, the national anthem or the country.

Completely agree

IMO it was selfish, it was one small moment in the entire year we truly do it and he had to make a "statement" still

I’ve always wondered why we care so much about former players once they go pro. Aren’t we LSU fans and should be focused on the current season and the upcoming crop of talent?

More unarmed white people have been killed by police this year than black people. The same was true in 2016. If all unarmed black people who were killed by cops were actually not killed by cops, over 99% of black murders would still occur this year.

You have a better chance of being killed by a bee, wasp, or hornet sting than being killed by a police officer if you are unarmed. You are more likely to be struck by lightning than you are to be killed by the police if you aren't carrying a gun. You are five times more likely to get hit by a train and die than to be killed by the police if you are unarmed. But by all means keep ignoring facts
