When he steps up in the pocket he is more inaccurate, than when he has time and can set his feet and throw. The better the blocking is uonfront the more accurate he is.

Huh?

Etling is bad on the long ball because he routinely double clutches and hesitates. It's like he waits for the WR to clear the DB rather than anticipating that he'll be where he needs to be when the ball gets there. He doesn't have exceptional arm strength to make up for the hesitation.

Hesitation has pretty much been his problem all year. He seldom throws someone open. He waits for separation before he throws, hence his low INT rate, but mediocre completion percentage as DBs recover.
