We’ve prosecuted jihadis before. We’re now prosecuting the biggest drug lord in the world.
It’s a show of American strength that we just shuffle these guys in through our system. No special tribunals or special procedures because what you did is not special. It violated federal law and you’ll get treated just like any other common criminal who violates federal law.
