This team will improve its long range shooting and defensive intensity. That is indeed a positive about the rebounding.

I hope Waters was not overhyped, and it will be disappointing if he does not show improvement.

Just hope the Tigers can get the physical play inside that they need to be much more competitive than last season.

First college game, and too many times he left his feet to make passes but you can tell the vision and toughness is there. I am sure and I know you are not saying it, but people will say why give a guy that 5'11 on a good day a scholly, he actually did a really nice job defensively, stats wont show tipped passes and obviously it isnt that hard for him to get low but he probably outside of Mays was out best defender at sitting down in a stance and putting a hand out to contest a dribble.

He struggled shooting but had good form, I really think the shooting was opening night woes coupled with so many new guys. Edwards has a nice stroke but Wade was rotating guys in and out trying to teach. Which it was an exhibition you could tell Dunleavy was playing it like a truly normal game, and thats okay. But Wade let certain guys play even let a walk on play meaningful minutes, and had a short leash because again they really were teaching.
