Yes it would suck and when t happens it would perfectly reasonable to call the integrity if the playoff into question.
But we are not getting in. Period.
If we win out just be happy with being SEC champions. That’s the most we could possibly get this year.

But we are not getting in. Period.
I'm not saying it will happen, but it remains a possibility. A 2 loss LSU team made it into the national championship even before the playoffs. Yes, that situation was different, but there are definitely scenarios that are possible, no matter how unlikely.
Pre-buttal: "Yeah, but it won't happen!"
I know, we all get that.

This is as true as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. No way LSU gets in unless a lot of other improbable stuff happens.
