re: Farming hoist

Seeing how most of the resident farming boys are in this thread I was wondering if I could get yalls input.

So thinking of a possible career change down the road an AG is something that has always interested me. I occasionally will look to see whats out there job wise and its usually very sparse in LA and the south in general. I know right now the industry is down so that may play a part but I have always heard it is a difficult industry to break into.

Now I know most of yall are farmers but is there any jobs in particular yall would recommend to look into? Crop consultant and chemical sales dont seem like to bad of gigs to have.
