You ever get nostalgic about the old way of picking? I miss it a little sometimes..
Yea, I really do. My best memories are me and my brother running pickers and my dad in the module builders. We had two way radios in all the tractors so everybody was trash talking about college football or whatever. Some years we would have 4500 acres of cotton and just two pickers so we were around each other a lot.

Yeah the farm my dad managed when I was growing up would be around 4000 cotton acres every year. Now we grow around 1500-2000, but it's custom picked so they would bring in 3 or 4 pickers and would have the same kind of feel.
Now it's just two pickers and a tractor
