A .22 magnum and a .338 magnum will kill them equally as dead. One obviously allows you to be a little less picky with your shots than the other.

Everything about the 6.5 sounds good. But it’s just the latest flavor. Seems we went through this with the 7mm-08 not that long ago. If you already own a deer rifle, chances are, a 6.5 won’t do any better than what you’ve been shooting.
