People are walking on eggshells around my work now. With as petty as some of the #metoo situations have become there is no doubt our place falls into that.

No excusing it, but it is the nature of what we do. Young girls trying to be "one of the guys" and then getting offended when they become "one of the guys."

You have to change the narrative.

Maybe if they weren’t worried about how some 20 year old flicks her bean, or nonsensical foolishness they’ve discussed in the suit, the hummus wouldn’t suck and the pizza would be half decent.

Don’t blame your problems on young impressionable women. Be a man and do what’s right. Even when no one is looking.

I have no doubt in a corporate place like that.

You know my industry. No egg shells here

This is so true. We had a situation where a young and very attractive female came to work in our group and naturally wanted to fit in. She drank harder, swore more and talked raunchier than any two of the guys. I saw the writing on the wall and stayed the hell away from her. The less fortunate guys just thought she was a "cool chick" and ran with it. Lo and behold, she started keeping a journal of the things being said and done and heads rolled. The fact that she was the instigator or participating didn't matter. Guys got royally screwed for behavior that was clearly prohibited conduct. Such a one way street.
