Koufax wasn't great long enough to be the "greatest".

His peak may have been but it was what? 4 years?

He is like Joe Jackson,did not play in his decline to see what the overall numbers would have been.

If something happened to Pujols 5 years ago he would be one of the "best ever"too.

I am not knocking them any more than saying they are top 10 at their positions instead of top 2 or 3.

Koufax had a 5 year stretch that is pretty much unrivaled. However, another left handed Dodger is giving him a run for his money.

Koufax is probably the best LH but there is a arguement that I would listen to for Randy Johnson or Warren Spahn.

Depends on your criteria. Spahn’s longevity vs Koufax peak would be a fun discussion
