Eh, I've been pretty happy with defense. Losing games because of the offense not the defense.
Not his fault we signed zero LB's and our 2 top draft picks have been hurt and played 2 total games (Both Conley, Obi 0).

Only thing I've liked this year compared to last year is the run D. 3rd down defense is still bad, and the secondary is still a work in progress. Granted Conley and Obi have been out, and as you said, RM decided to avoid our biggest concern on defense (MLB).
We shouldn't have retained Norton honestly.
