because I want the damage to reach a threshold where the league recognizes their problems, fixes it, and I can have football back.

I'm confident that the ratings slide will continue until the broadcasting rights are up for negotiation again. they'll get less, but the way they handle PR and "protect the shield" (by outright denial and in some cases, lying) it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to claim it's bigger than the last one
