There's a flip side to your theory. When you look good, women eye you up. Even if you're with your girl. That can be problematic. Keep a little on your middle and they might still eye you up, but your girl feels better about it.
Also, although I do enjoy my own company at times, I'd never want to have sex with myself, as I am heterosexual.

Your girl has insecurities about you and will end up dumping you.
I got eye fricked by a woman at the obgyn while I was sitting next to my 8 month pregnant wife. We both saw it and she just laughed her arse off.

Not problematic at all. Women want to be with men that other women want to be with. It's a sign of value. It also makes them feel special that they got the guy.
