Former Air Force here, Honestly, I have never understood why some people need others to validate their service. In my book, if you signed the line and served honorably, then good on ya and thanks for your service.
What about those 90 day deployments, AF guys?
Usually went over 90 days, some places the accommodations were awesome, others not so much. Not all AFSC's get to live the plush life.

I was active duty air force... i had intel analysts from air force reserve working for me in afganistan. They were well educated beyond that of most enlisted intel analysts and most had multiple delpoyments under their belts. I usually had less problems with them than their active duty counter parts. My last deployment 7/10 or so had graduate degrees and ranged e-4 to e-7... And they all volunteered for the deployment.
