Hardly anyone talking now is new. And anyone who said anything now would be praised. If anything, waiting so long like they did with Harvey meant that dozens of more women got victimized. Aren't the people who didn't say anything years ago partly responsible? Wouldn't anyone who kept quiet today about someone else be partially responsible for all the other girls/guys in the future? Again, they seem like they're enabling this culture by simply admitting it exists.

Weinstein is a big name in the industry. One of the biggest. Accusations are finally to the point where it can't be swept under the rug, and that gives people courage to actually say something.

But the sad truth of it is money talks, and that's driving a lot of motivations. Hopefully more will come of this, and at least the major offenders know that the cat is close to being out of the bag.
