It's an incredibly low number still, less than a dozen at last count. There has been like 1 case in the US.

Probably a small batch of bad batteries. Not really unexpected when you are producing as many as they are. This hasn't shown to be even remotely close to the same issue Samsung had with their batteries.

Pretty much all china made items are produced in these slave like conditions. Watch that documentary on how Mardi Gras beads are made, that was freakin nuts.
