My wife is 31 and had pregnancy endured RA which has continued after her pregnancies. While it is not legal in GA, she did ask her doctor about marijuana as a pain reliever. The doctor said he isn't allowed to prescribe it and there is so little research on it but he did say he has some patients who smoke it regularly and they felt it has helped.

She just had a baby a few weeks ago but is waiting until she can try. She has never smoked in her life and hates it when I used to but she said the pain and inability to function is so terrible, she is willing to try it. I'm looking forward to showing her how to take her medicine.

I hope she waits til she stops breastfeeding

This is just anecdotal evidence but all the kids that I grew up with that I expect were exposed to marijuana in utero or through breastmilk turned out to be burnout losers and petty criminals
