Gravitational Waves....ongoing discussion today

Here is the link. Disclose.tv
I am completely ignorant, but here is what I've gathered so far:
1.Origin of some signal...
2.Electro-magnetic waves...
3.Some type of a collision...
One observatory discovered a signal, and then all of the observatories around the world started focusing on that signal and observing. They have observatories from all over the world disclosing findings related to some signals coming from the netherworlds.

No jump to hyperspace, no care.

Let's build whatever they tell us to build.

So, apparently 2 neutron stars merged and formed chemical elements. That is my dumbed down interpretation of things.

they also now know where short duration gamma ray bursts originate from

I’m too dumb to understand this.

Where that is?

they originate from 2 neutron stars combining
Basically, they are saying that they are seeing that the combination of 2 neutron stars gives off most (if not all) of the heavy elements we have on this planet. It may explain just where exactly all of our matter originally came from.
I think...

Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started, wait
The earth began to cool, the autotrophs began to drool
Neanderthals developed tools
We built a wall (we built the pyramids)
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries
That all started with the big bang! Hey!

I graduated college with a 3.8 gpa.
I have a MBA.
I can’t read a paragraph about anything going on in space without blacking out and drooling on myself. It’s not out of boredom...because I am truly interested in understanding this stuff. I feel like I’m too dumb to understand any of it. The scientist trying to explain it to me is equivalent to me trying to explain binary options to a sloth at the zoo.
How is this stuff proven. We’ve never been far enough into space to see and touch stuff. Are these and other breakthroughs purely theoretical? I mean, even with our most advanced cameras and telescopes, the photos have to be doctored with color or else they look like they’re taken with a potato.

Me too.
Am I understanding correctly that we have actually identified and observed the creation of matter? The origins of all things?
That would be big, but would not move the needle for almost all of us dummies out there.

I was out in the backyard having a beer after some yard work yesterday and noticed a high than normal amount of chemtrails. I'm pretty sure it was related to the gravitational waves being monitored.

I’ve read two or three articles this morning about whatever has been discovered and they all mention something about gaining a better understanding of how life began... but none of the publications went into further detail...or they did during my black-out.
I thought the Higgs Boson was supposed to be the origin of life...or something lol

Such total bullshite.
LSU's football team just beat Auburn's football team in a thrilling game, and you think we should give a shite about this idiocy?
