They tried to do the same t Reagan. The big difference is the GOP establishment doesn’t like him because because they don’t want to lose the power over us. They are close to the same as the dems.

The reason many in the GOP don’t like him is that they have spent years working on their agenda to beat the Democrats in elections. All elections from local to the presidency and for years to come. They have a plan and the Party was all on board. Then comes Trump... someone from outside of this plan... coming in and doing things on his own and in their eyes fricking everything up.
They’ve spent so much time and effort and here comes some a-hole undermining all of their work.
If you were in their shoes you’d probably be pissed too.
