About time Chevrolet recognized that the laws of physics require ultrahigh perfomance cars be mid-engine
Audi, Ferrari, McClaren et al figured It out long ago.
As a result hood will be shorter, tail will be lomger and form follows function,
So no surprises here except what does Chevy do to not look like competitors midengine pecedents
Price can provide differentiaton if it is less than $75K

If it’s less than 75k I’m listening.

That will take a little to get used to, but it was time to move on to the next generation.

Well, in all fairness, that's going to be the trunk (frunk?) when they move to a mid-engine configuration. The hood's still gonna have to be long enough to cover the engine, it just won't be in front of you.

More about target audience. The older guys, for the most part, liked certain parts of he classic look. They have started having more of a European influence as they began shifting more attention to the younger guys buying them now.
