IMHO, the GOP Establishment will settle for damaging Trump politically to such an extent that he declines to run for a second term, for the good of the party.
Then we will be returned "to our regularly scheduled programming" of secure Wash DC establishment insider devotees to the UniParty candidates for POTUS.
The message will be delivered to all non-progressive Outsiders who may think about running for POTUS in the future: we can get Trump, we can surely BURY you.
SAD! But, that's the state of the USA in the year 2017.
