A recruit is usually always welcomed on campus and to home games. These visits are considered unofficial visits and all expenses are the responsibility of the recruit. Each recruit also gets a total of 5 official visits which are by invite only and all expenses, including air fare, are covered by the school and includes all immediate family members. The recruit only gets one official visit per school up to 5 total schools. Usually the recruits top 5 schools.

How does a recruiting service decide who to send an invitation to and for which school? Are they coordinated with the school?
