Generally speaking, right now everyone should be making sure the fall webworm/armyworm/cinch bug infestations are being controlled (via Bifenthrin or carbaryl). Pre-emergent (Simazine is a good, cheap one) should go down by Thanksgiving. If you have had any fungal issues in the past, late fall is also a good time to get ahead on spring fungus by putting down a good fungicide (chlorothalonil, thiphonate-methyl, etc)
