I haven't started a game thread since this was a thing but how does it work?

It looks like they are automatically pinned right? So thats nice. But when a game ends and it is unpinned, Im not a huge fan of the normal threads inbetween pinned game threads and non pinned game threads. Can the format revert back somewhat once they are over? Or idk, some other idea
